Dr. Karl Fossum, psychiatrist and longtime member of Institute for Orgonomic Science, passed away in February, 2017. He was a good-natured man with an exultant smile and a wisdom that commanded respect. With the exception of this last year, Dr. Fossum regularly participated in IOS meetings, which were held in Dr. Morton Herskowitz’s house in Philadelphia. I enjoyed talking with Dr. Fossum because of his pleasant demeanor, his wisdom, and his knowledge of Orgonomy. After our IOS meetings, I usually gave him a ride back to New York City where he resided. We often talked about issues related to Orgonomy such as Orgonomic institutes, the future of Orgonomy, as well as the history of Orgonomy, in which he was well versed.

*Information on the Bibliography on Orgonomy
http://www.orgonelab.org/bibliogINFO.htm
This Bibliography on Orgonomy had its beginnings, and was built upon the main citation list of my Bibliography on Orgone Biophysics (Natural Energy Works, 1986) which is now out-of-print. The goal of the current effort is to have a complete listing of Wilhelm Reich's voluminous publications, along with all those by his associates and co-workers, and others who took up the subject of his research over subsequent decades. On many occasions, research scientists have asked me where they could find information on one or another aspect of Reich's work, or if something had been replicated or not, and it was a constant difficulty to provide assistance to those honest inquiries. Also, the "skeptics" have continued to misrepresent this large body of work, as if it did not exist. With the coming of global internet, a new possibility opened up for making these materials available, world-wide. This Bibliography on Orgonomy should be a helpful tool for researchers, allowing name, noscript and keyword searches using ordinary internet browsers. It should also finally put to rest the chronic misrepresentations that "only Reich" made observations [of] the various orgone energy phenomena under discussion. ...
Since this is a scientific bibliography, I have included research publications which yield both positive and negative findings, though it must be said, the number of honestly-undertaken research efforts which obtained wholly negative results on Reich's work are extremely rare. By contrast, the malicious attacks against Reich, his associates and contemporary research scientists and physicians investigating this subject, disinformation smear articles as appearing in the popular press and occasionally spilling over as commentary in a few scientific journals (but without research support) are far more abundant. Due to their patently unscientific nature, such materials have been segregated into a separate Emotional Plague Bibliography which also includes published rebuttals against them. I also have made a separate listing of university theses and dissertations focused upon Reich and orgonomy, as these will be of special interest for students. Most contain excellent support for orgonomic research. Similarly, a separate list has been made of various court documents and records of the Reich legal case, as many of them are in book form, and contain materials of both scientific and historical importance. The rebuttal-materials, university theses and dissertations, and the Reich legal-case materials are all included within this main Bibliography on Orgonomy making it the most comprehensive source.

My brother Harold Hillman, who has died aged 85, was a biological scientist whose research had application in resuscitation, animal slaughter, execution techniques and the use of electric stun guns. He found that the lives of people and animals, such as newborn calves, could be saved with a device similar to the one used to inflate airbeds, and that a lethal injection rather than the electric chair was a more “humane” method of execution.
He repeatedly challenged the orthodox scientific community in its interpretations of the effects on cell structures of extracting, dehydrating and staining under the electron microscope. In the book The Living Cell (1980), which Harold wrote with Peter Sartory, he argued that the technique resulted in fundamental changes to the cells themselves, and was thus unreliable, a view rejected by most of his peers, and for which he paid a high price in career terms.
Harold was uncompromisingly and intellectually honest, dedicated to leading a life based on principle and driven by a strong moral compass that affected everyone he met. Its origins lay in his upbringing by our mother, Annie, a [General Practitioner] who saw her responsibility to her sick patients as overriding that to her children. Its manifestation was revealed in every aspect of his life – his family, his humanist philosophy (he met his wife, Elizabeth, a teacher of deaf people, at a Humanist Society party in 1973), his abhorrence of capitalism and his commitment to exposing institutional corruption, the diminution of academic freedom, cover-ups of discreditable research, loss of human rights and abuse of animal welfare. He was a vegan and refused to wear leather shoes.
Born in London, Harold was the second of three sons of Annie (nee Rabinowitz) and David Hillman, a stained-glass artist. After qualifying at Middlesex hospital medical school in 1956, he worked in general practice while obtaining degrees in physiology at University College London, and a PhD in biochemistry at the Institute of Psychiatry, London. His subsequent professional life was largely based at Surrey University, first as reader in physiology, and later as founder and director of the Unity Laboratory of Applied Neurobiology. He wrote six books and published more than 150 papers on various subjects related to his research.
He played an active part in many organisations and societies, including the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture (now Freedom from Torture), the Council for Academic Freedom and Academic Standards, Freedom to Care, and the Association of University Teachers. He was a founding member of Amnesty International and founding editor of Resuscitation, the official journal of the European Resuscitation Council.
Harold is survived by Elizabeth, their children, Alexander, Rachel, Benedict and Sophia, four grandchildren, and me.

THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY AND MEDICAL PRACTICE
On August 24, 1953, Wilhelm Reich met with six of his students at Orgonon to discuss the hostility they were experiencing from the medical community because of their association with him and their clinical use of the orgone energy accumulator. This conversation, originally preserved on wire-recording, captures a unique and fascinating moment in time from over a half-century ago.
During this discussion, Reich, Elsworth Baker, M.D., Walter Hoppe, M.D., Ola Raknes, M.D., Chester M. Raphael, M.D., Eva Reich, M.D., and Simeon Tropp, M.D. talk about problems in medicine, science and society that still plague us today.

COVID is (mostly) over in the same sense that WWII was over by 1946. The war had ended, but the world that emerged in the aftermath had profoundly changed.
The post-COVID world is ruled by a far more aggressive form of globalist governance. COVID shifted the Overton Window to such a degree that almost anything in the name of "sustainable development" is now possible including deliberately distrupting global food supplies.
Afterall, if it's been established that locking people in their homes for a year is worth it to stop a virus with less than a 1% fatality rate, what can't be done to stop the supposed world-ending threat of climate change?
The Dutch government's attack on their country's farming sector is one of many examples of this to emerge recently. I fear it's a sign of worse things to come.
