Get ready for Counter Stake Stage 1, ‘Stake on the Beach'.

The Previous Stage, Stage 0, of our Counter Stake incentivised testnet event was a huge success, and we are delighted by the overwhelming amount of interest from the community. Our team has been conducting thorough testing in preparation for Stage 1, which is now right around the corner.

The aim of this Stage, Stage 1, is to release staking contract details and incremental features of the Validator nodes. We will begin accepting participants to be in the active Validator set, followed by unlocking rewards, penalties and replacement strategies progressively.

There is a total reward pool of $40,000 worth MATIC tokens for participants of Stage 1 🎉

Our launch & trading partner Binance has just announced the next round of support for Elrond prestaking via one of their products. The previous similar product has seen 500mn ERD deposited in just one day.

2.7bn $ERD are already staked in our Phase 1 contract. This new wave from Binance will help move that towards 3.2bn $ERD staked, 64% of our ambitious goal.

The first ever DappWeek was a great success for Matic. Many more to come. The next few weeks are very exciting for Matic.

Signing off this DappWeek on a high , We’re excited to announce Zawadi’s integration with the world’s largest event ticketing platform, Eventbrite!

With help from Zawadi, Eventbrite event organizers can now deliver tokenized tickets to their attendees through social messaging apps via in-built chatbot Matic wallets. In coming days, Zawadi expects to list at the app-marketplace of Eventbrite post which the ticket tokenization process will become automated. Through this integration Zawadi would be able to offer ticket tokenization to millions of users.

Zawadi is already gaining a huge amount of traction. By integrating with Eventbrite, they now have access to 900,000 event creators managing over 4,000,000 events annually. That’s a lot of tickets!

Furthermore, by leveraging Biconomy’s relayer infrastructure, ticket transfers are as seamless as sending a message or a photo.

Zawadi’s revolutionising of ticket delivery, facilitated by Biconomy and powered by Matic Network demonstrates perfectly how our ecosystem is becoming stronger together 🤝
