We're excited to announce Light Trail Rush as our third go live of Dapp Week!

Light Trail Rush is a fast paced, arcade-style brawler game set in a retro-futuristic space backdrop. Built by B2Expand, the first French gaming studio to incorporate blockchain technology back in 2018, the team shares our goal of bringing blockchain to the masses.

Therefore, in their efforts to provide the best possible UX, Light Trail Rush has recently onboarded to Matic. Our infrastructure will enable Light Trail Rush users to seamlessly transfer in-game NFTs to one another with negligible fees.

Our launch & trading partner Binance has just announced the next round of support for Elrond prestaking via one of their products. The previous similar product has seen 500mn ERD deposited in just one day.

2.7bn $ERD are already staked in our Phase 1 contract. This new wave from Binance will help move that towards 3.2bn $ERD staked, 64% of our ambitious goal.

#Day5 #DappWeek

The first ever DappWeek was a great success for Matic. Many more to come. The next few weeks are very exciting for Matic.

Signing off this DappWeek on a high , We’re excited to announce Zawadi’s integration with the world’s largest event ticketing platform, Eventbrite!

With help from Zawadi, Eventbrite event organizers can now deliver tokenized tickets to their attendees through social messaging apps via in-built chatbot Matic wallets. In coming days, Zawadi expects to list at the app-marketplace of Eventbrite post which the ticket tokenization process will become automated. Through this integration Zawadi would be able to offer ticket tokenization to millions of users.

Zawadi is already gaining a huge amount of traction. By integrating with Eventbrite, they now have access to 900,000 event creators managing over 4,000,000 events annually. That’s a lot of tickets!

Furthermore, by leveraging Biconomy’s relayer infrastructure, ticket transfers are as seamless as sending a message or a photo.

​​Ankr Network will provide 1-click node hosting and discounted hosting services for Matic validators. In addition, MATIC tokens and Matic chain assets (USDT/USDC) will be used for payments in Ankr Network.
According to the recent blog post node hosting as a service has become a major use-case for Ankr Network, with already over 25 blockchain protocols added to the node hosting application platform.

#Staking

Matic’s incentivised staking testnet, CS-2001, is now live with Initial 20 validators!

As Stage 1 of Counter Stake progresses, we will be adding more validators to the network.

The following features are unlocked during this stage (specifics of the features can be found here):

- Setting up the validator nodes & staking test tokens
- Establishing validator power weightage as per staked tokens
- Changing the signer address via the staking contract
- Validator Exit contract, to initiate the un-stake from the network
- Unstake Claim mechanism, for claiming stake+rewards after un-stake is successful
- Generate + Propose new span on Bor
- Producer set switches on Bor
- Deposit event sync to Bor
- Proposing and submitting new checkpoints
- Verifying and signing checkpoints
- Validator Replacement Mechanism

Matic is joining the first cohort of Ren Alliance utility members to enable cross-chain asset support on Matic Network sidechains.
