- JZ Zhang (Technology Advisor) positions are listed as Distinguished Architect at Yahoo, Principal Engineer at Cisco, Microsoft, Blackberry and AT&T and Founder of PDX funded by Lenovo Capital.

Product :
- They already have a working prototype and are way beyond the whitepaper stage.
- They have finished implementing the consensus protocol Proof of Useful Work and have swapped it into bitcoin core for testing purposes.

Token Metrics :
- 30% are available for sale. Need more info before properly rating and calculating ROI possibility.

This project is gonna get hyped in coming days and their telegram blew to 4K in a single day. It's not quite active at the moment.
There is not much info available but new website with all the details regarding whitepaper, token metrics will be made public.
You can join the telegram first and become an early supporter. Their are quiet a lot of benefits of joining a project at a early stage.

About

1) Arweave claims to be a new data storage blockchain protocol based on proof of access consensus mechanism that provides permanent, low-cost and censorship free data storage.
2) Decentralized data storage is not a new concept and we have other projects Sia, FileCoin, Storj which provide IPFS (inter-Planetary File System) since 2014.
3) But we haven't seen any mass adoption yet( has anyone even used those services in real life yet?)
4) Arweave claims to have high throughput, persistency of data and incentives to participate in network to maximise the use case.
5) Tech offered by Arweave :
a. The Blockweave - Blockweave is a distributed network of nodes and DAPPS can be built on top of it.
b. Decentralised App Development - Developers can build Arweave apps in any programming language using Arwave own REST APIs.
c. Self-Organising Network - A self-organising decentralised algorithm (‘wildfire’) that allows the network topology to adapt autonomously to the most efficient routes of information distribution.

Team

CEO Sam Williams and CTO William Jones were both Assistant Lecturer at University of Kent prior to Arweave.
Arweave being their second start-up, they are quiet inexperienced in Blockchain Tech.
Rest of the team is weak as well and adviors are not so great.

1. Hype is there and it will be shilled by "Twiiter Shillers" after exchange listing.
2. Hard cap is on lower side. Tech is good and team is focused on delivering product.


My investement strategy :
When negatives outweigh the positives, I try to go small. Hype is there and I'll be investing small to utilize the hype.

My opinion on AGORA :

1. Agora concept is not new but they have a working product which has been tested in market, this puts them at front-runner for making big name in elections on blockchains.
2. But the question is, will governments accept election on Blockchain? The current system is in place for a reason so that it can be rigged.
3. Do I see governments accepting AGORA system for election any time sooner? No.
4. That could happen in year or it could take years.
5. So this could be a very very long term project in my views.

But could it be a good flip?
1. Crowdsale is scheduled for 30th August which is almost 3 months away.
2. This could be pushed at earlier stage if pre-sale gets over early.
Token distribution supposed to happen in October.
3. So there is a risk of pre-sale not finishing early with degrading hype and a FLIP could be a FLOP.
