October 2019 Token Unlock: 100% Foundation Tokens to be used for Staking Activities

• 100% of unlocked Matic Treasury tokens (Foundation & Ecosystem) to be allocated to staking activities
• ~40% of Investors are voluntarily not taking any unlocks
• In all, ~80% of total unlocked tokens NOT to be released into the market
• Only ~20% of the unlocked tokens (248,446,690 tokens) to be released
• This was the first & last Investor token unlock (50% unlocked on listing & 50% unlocked now). No more token sale unlocks.

Trial of Artemis to launch NFT sale on Matic Network!

We are thrilled to announce that Trial of Artemis, a new game onboarding to Matic Network built by the Chainbreakers team, will launch the Matic-hosted NFT sale!

The sale, being held to celebrate the launch of ToA, will offer users the chance to purchase from a range of nine different pets (NFTs). Players will be able to spawn these pets on Chainbreakers parcels in the Decentraland metaverse.

These pets will remain extremely exclusive, with only 630 NFTs being offered in the sale. The sale will take place in three stages, beginning on October 31st.

I was looking to lend my USDT to earn the interest on it instead of just keeping it idle in my Ledger and I found 3 top Crypto Lending Sites for longer term lending.
My requirement were Secuity, insurance, NO-lockup, withdraw anytime etc.
(I would not urge to lend all of your portfolio just enough of it which gonna stay idle for long time.)

1. NEXO

a. Founded in 2017
b. backed by the founder of TechCrunch: Michael Arrington.
c. Have nearly 200,000 customers and back payments in 45 Fiat currencies.

PROS :

a. Nexo Wallets provided by BitGo. Thus, users who borrow or lend Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are
b. Funds are insured for up to $100M by Lloyd’s, in case of a hack or bankruptcy. This amount is for the total company, not per person.
c. Daily interest. Deposit/Withdraw anytime.
d. 8% interest (USD, EUR, GBP, USDT, TUSD, USDC, PAX, DAI)
e. Available on Web and mobile app.

CONS :

a. Can only deposit stable coins and fiat currencies.
b. No support for BTC and ETH yet, but there is no projected idea when this will happen.

2. BLOCKFI

a. Founded by Zac Prince and Flori Marquez.
b. Company has raised over $20M from including Coinbase Ventures.

PROS :

a. 6.2% interest rate on BTC and 3.3% on ETH for lenders, compounded.
b. 4.5% interest rate for borrowers. This is a plus for lenders.
c. No minimum deposit.
d. Crypto assets are stored with Gemini (licensed custodian with insurance and has a perfect track record void of hacks or customer fund losses.)

CONS :

a. Interest rates decrease to 2.2% and 0.2% for deposits over 10 BTC and 100 ETH (respectively).
b. Only BTC, ETH and GUSD are available.
c. Not FDIC insured, though Gemini -- their wallet provider -- has a strong track record for security.

3. CELSIUS NETWORK

a. Founded in 2018 by Alex Mashinsky (one of inventors and patent holders of VOIP (voice over IP) technology.)
b. He holds numerous awards for entrepreneurship.

PROS :

a. Offers interest on BTC, ETH, and other top 10+ cryptocurrencies.
b. No withdrawal fees, no deposit fees, no transaction fees, no early termination fees, no origination fees.
c. same insurance security as NEXO provided by Lloyd’s.
d. Weekly interest. Deposit/Withdraw anytime.
e. Higher interest rates (8%+) than NEXO on stablecoins.
f. Higher interest rates (up to 10%) when accepting to be paid interest with CEL tokens -- the Celsius cryptocurrency.

CONS :

a. CEL, their ICO token, has been suspended for U.S. customers. Which means U.S. customers can’t benefit from the highest interest rates possible.
b. Mobile App only. The user experience isn't as good as Nexo's.

There are other lending sites which I won't go in detail which cater exclusive to some coins like Compound.Finance (only DAI stable coin) and DharmaLever (Only DAI stable coin and Ether, 90 day lock in).

CONCLUSION :

Overall, I think Nexo and Celsius are 2 lenders where I'll try to lend to earn interest instead of depending on only one for diversification.
Both have pros & cons and it's better to not put all egss in one basket.
