Palestine Action shuts down supplier of Israel's largest arms firm

Palestine Action group occupied Grid Defence Systems, physically destroying part of the supply chain for weapons that supply the Israeli military’s campaign in Gaza.

The targeting of Grid Defence Systems, was cracked down upon by riot police. The company is a military hardware suppliers for several arms companies including Israel’s largest weapons firm, Elbit Systems. While the U.K. government continue to arm Israel’s ongoing war crimes, Palestine Action escalates its attempts to prevent such weapons being creating in Britain to begin with.

BREAKING: Palestine Action target the London offices of Thales.

Thales, one of the worlds largest weapons firms, works in partnership with Israel’s Elbit Systems to build drones which are “battle-tested” on Palestinians.

An actionist was imprisoned after they were arrested two weeks ago with six others for an action against two banks in Leeds city centre, which invest in Israel’s biggest weapons firm, Elbit Systems.

Beforehand, on the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, she and 3 others occupied and dismantled Teledyne’s arms factory in Shipley — severely disrupting the production of parts for Israel’s missiles and fighter jets.

She has put her liberty on the line to fight for an end to the genocide and Palestinian liberation.

Their statement:

Elbit Systems is the largest weapons manufacturer of the settler colony, so-called "Israel". In Germany, Elbit has two locations in Ulm and additional offices in Berlin and Koblenz. Its production ranges from surveillance and telecommunication to ammunition. Elbit is particularly known for their assault drones: more than 80% of the drones of the zionist occupation army are produced by Elbit.

We support the anti-colonial struggle of the Palestinian resistance and share their demands: a complete withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza with a comprehensive cessation of the colonial aggression all over Palestine, unrestricted entry of relief and reconstruction of Gaza, lifting the siege in its entirety, freedom for all prisoners, alive and martyred, land back, right of return, and self-determination for Palestinians.

Escalation will be met with escalation.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
