Iran offered Israel the opportunity to implement an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and stop killing civilians across the region, if the Zionist state seeks to minimize the impact of the upcoming Iranian retaliation to aggression against the country in the last month.
“If they make a revision in their behavior, accept a ceasefire and stop killing the oppressed and innocent people of the region, it could have an effect on the type and intensity of our response,” Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday, November 3.

The US elections are a national event whose impact transcends far beyond its borders.
The hegemonic power’s domination of international financial institutions and systems, as well as its military dominance, puts it at the center of the geopolitical chessboard, as it has the power to suffocate the economy of any country in the world, or bomb its civilians, with almost complete impunity. This policy of international dominance, is one that has the consensus of both major parties, and one that is unlikely to have any major transformations in the event of a Donald Trump or Kamala Harris victory.
We spoke to left leaders and scholars from across the world to hear their perspective on the possible impacts of the US elections in their regions.

The Democratic and Republican parties have dominated electoral politics in the United States for over a century. Every election cycle, people in the US are forced to choose between whoever is the “lesser of two evils.”
In these elections, as both parties have pledged to continue the steady stream of support to Israel as it commits genocide in Gaza, there have been record high levels of interest in “third parties” which seek to break through the two-party duopoly and establish a new independent political pole.
Listen to activists and political leaders talk about why they have refused to vote for mainstream parties this election cycle.

As the US election comes to a close, momentum for a third party option grows.
According to Gallup, 63% of US adults agree that both major establishment parties are doing such “such a poor job” of representing the people of the US that “a third major party is needed.”
A question on the minds of many is how the year-long movement for Palestine will shape the election, particularly for Arab and Muslim American voters who reside in swing states such as Michigan.

Donald Trump has won the US presidential elections.
What can the people of the United States and the world expect from the far-right, xenophobe and former president? His campaign promises include mass deportation of 15 to 20 million people, tax cuts for the wealthy, increasing the pressure on Iran and Cuba, and funding cuts for public health and education, among many others.
