Known as Popi for Cubans, González was an outstanding scientist and forensic expert. He was well known for his work as head of the medical brigade in charge of identifying the remains of Comandante Che Guevara in Bolivia.

More recently, he led the efforts to recover the remains of those who died during the fire at the Matanzas supertanker station.

An eminent Cuban physician and key leader in the world-renowned Cuban healthcare system has passed into immortality.

🇦🇷 "Since they didn't kill me, I have to be in prison."

The campaign of lawfare against former president and left-wing leader Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner continues. An appeals court ratified her guilty sentence in a trumped case full of inconsistencies and errors according to her supporters.

Thousands took to the streets to show their support for the leader of the Kirchnerismo and to let what they call the "Judicial Mafia" know that the Argentinian people support CFK.

CFK's defense will appeal the sentence of six years in prison and the life ban from politics, which seems to be the final goal of the right-wing judges.

On November 12, a bill that could have given the US government, in particular the presidency, sweeping powers to target pro-Palestine organizations failed to pass the US House of Representatives.

Organizations pledge to keep fighting attempts to sanction pro-Palestine activity without evidence or due process.
