🇵🇸As part of its genocide on the Palestinian people in Gaza, Israel has been systematically devastating the education sector in the Gaza Strip by attacking scholars and intellectuals, in addition to massively destroying universities and schools in what is known as scholasticide.
Commemorating the International day for solidarity with the Palestinian People, universities across Palestine organized a marathon to help students in Gaza to resume their education.

Extrajudicial executions, mass arrests, custodial torture and charges of treason were among the methods used by the Nigerian government to crack down on protests this August against rising hunger and economic hardships.
Nigerian President and alleged CIA asset Bola Tinubu implemented a nation-wide crackdown on protests against hunger and the cost-of-living crisis, resulting in dozens of deaths.
In a report released on November 28, noscriptd “Bloody August,” Amnesty International (AI) documented 24 killings, while “scores of additional cases reported by activists and journalists” are yet to be verified. Many of these lives were taken by security forces firing live ammunition at close range to “head or torso, suggesting that they were shooting to kill,” the report stated.

#PeoplesHistory | Today, we remember one of the moments that shaped contemporary history as we know it: the arrival of the Granma yacht to the shores of Cuba.
82 revolutionaries, led by Fidel Castro, traveled from Mexico to eastern Cuba aboard the Granma yacht to begin the phase of guerrilla war against US-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista.
Upon arrival, they were ambushed by Batista troops, and many were killed. Those who remained started the armed struggle against the dictatorship and were rapidly joined by peasants and working-class people, which ignited the Sierra Maestra fight and eventually defeated the dictatorship.
