The spokesperson of Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Abu Obaida said in a statement on Monday that “the handover of the captives, who were scheduled to be released next Saturday, will be postponed until further notice, and until the occupation commits to and compensates for the ennoscriptments of the past weeks retroactively.”

Conway was an integral part of the Baltimore chapter of the Black Panther Party. After his release in 2014, Eddie continued the struggle, taking up journalism with The Real News Network. Even as his health declined, a product of the 4 decades he spent in prison, Eddie never abandoned the struggle. He lived his life for the people.
