#PeoplesHistory | Ghassan Kanafani was a revolutionary writer, artist, and fighter for liberation.

Many said that Kanafani’s pen was a weapon. His stories exposed the brutality of Zionist settler-colonialism and ignited resistance across generations.

In 1972, the Israeli Mossad assassinated him with a car bomb—murdering not just Kanafani, but his 17-year-old niece, Lamees, in a cowardly act of state terror.

His words, however, live on: "The Palestinian cause is not a cause for Palestinians only, but a cause for every revolutionary."
