Students organized the march to protest Israel's illegal interception of the Freedom Flotilla and the arrest of its crew members on Monday, June 9. They also manifested their rejection of Israel's ongoing blockade of aid into Gaza and called for an end to Israel's genocide.

Students led by left-wing organizations such as the All India Students Association (AISA), Student Federation of India (SFI), and others, also accused the ultra-right-wing government, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of abandoning India’s historic pro-Palestine stance and pursuing a pro-Israel policy.

Protests continue in cities across the US against ICE raids

This past weekend, the mass mobilizations against Trump's immigration crackdown in Los Angeles faced heavy repression from the LAPD. Not satisfied with the repression of the protests, US President Donald Trump ordered the deployment of thousands of troops from the National Guard and 700 Marines.

Instead of suppressing the movement, it has further ignited people across the country to reject the attacks on immigrant communities and demand an end to ICE raids. Thousands of people in cities across the country joined protests on Monday and Tuesday.
