🇻🇪Today marks a month since the United States carried out an illegal, unilateral military operation against Venezuela and kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, a member of the Venezuelan National Assembly.
With the attack against Venezuela, the US sought to send a message to the entire Global South and completely do away with any semblance of "rules-based order". Trump himself declared: "American dominance in the Western Hemisphere will never be questioned again."

#PeoplesHistory | Today we remember Eduardo Mondlane, the founding leader of the Mozambican Liberation Front (FRELIMO) and a Pan-Africanist revolutionary, who was assassinated on this day in 1969.
Mondlane led FRELIMO until his assassination at its headquarters in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He was killed by a bomb planted in a book, part of a broader campaign by colonial forces to crush national liberation movements across the Global South.
