Perena Community Update:

1️⃣ On May 16, 2025, during a price adjustment in the Perena sUSD <> USD* Growth Pool, there was a longer-than-usual delay in syncing with the true market rate. This resulted in a temporary positive depeg, where sUSD traded above its primary value. As a result, some LPs may see a drop in the displayed value of their portfolio on the frontend.

All LP funds remain safe. This was not a smart contract exploit. The pool has since been rebalanced, and the sUSD Growth Pool is now withdraw-only as we continue upgrading the broader Growth Pool architecture.

We have created a disbursement claim page that will remain open until July 31, 2025, whereby users with affected wallets can be made whole if they lost funds through this event: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScX96FBf3zVUSnEjRnB1dQP51LkoP2-ir2fvnkh-vtxAE-50w/viewform?usp=dialog

2️⃣ We fixed a bug where AUSD was not generating fees. We have calculated retroactively how much fee the pool would've made (and rounded up) and have sent those fees to the pool, so when people remove liquidity, they'll get "extra" from the fee. Future fees will be accounted for and distributed correctly from here on out.

3️⃣ The Perena Team was at Solana Accelerate where we made a huge splash and recognized to have the best merch, branding, and booth design which attracted a bunch of new potential partners and meetings with existing partners. Anna presented Perena to the audience as well as IRL moderated the stablecoin talks.

4️⃣ Rate-X integrations to the main web app is on its way and is a priority. As rewards functionality starts to hit steady state, we will begin the preparations for Season 1 launch!

4️⃣ Vaults beta testing is LIVE! We connect users to curators, providing stable yield with easy to use UX. Our first vault is NeutralTrade's JLP Delta Neutral vault, and we look to launch more soon. Because we are in beta, we are giving a limited number of codes to active community members. Please note that we are not issuing any bonus petal rewards to maintain fairness for our live products.

5️⃣ Growth Pool LP and Swap Rewards are being removed at the end of this Pre-Season. As we turn to promoting our new products, we are increasingly focused on rewarding activity that provides value for Perena. While swaps are important to the ecosystem, petals can be farmed, in turn obscuring real user activity and diluting the pool for real ecosystem expansion. Therefore, activities like LPing to USD* and using vaults will be rewarded. These changes are not live yet, but we want to let people know to start migrating their Growth Pool funds to the USD* seed pool.
