It’s so tired hearing midwits use Britain as a punching bag. The standards against which our history is being unfairly measured… were invented by us. Slavery would still be a global norm if it wasn’t for us. Modern democracy would simply not exist. The countries we are accused of “stealing” from would be immeasurable poorer were it not for the industrialisation we invented. And in the final waning of the Empire, we stood up to the Nazis when nobody else would do so.

What do we get for this? Endless demonisation by leftists educated beyond their intellect, and cynical Islamists who would never live by the morals they claim we violate. It is so tiring.
