Agents then deployed tear gas and pepper spray to deter agitators.

WATCH: A Florida Highway Patrol trooper and a Volusia County Sheriff’s Office deputy narrowly avoided serious injury early Tuesday when a vehicle drifted onto the shoulder of Interstate 95 and struck their patrol vehicles during a roadside assistance call.

Trooper Clark, assigned to Troop D, was assisting a disabled vehicle around 1 a.m. when the driver approached on the shoulder and nearly struck him and the deputy, according to a news release.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles released dashboard camera video of the scene following the incident.

New York: An on-duty Blooming Grove police officer was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday evening on Mountain Lodge Road near Helms Hill Road.

The officer, the only occupant in the vehicle that crashed around 6:30 p.m., was taken to a hospital by ambulance and has since been discharged.

While Governor Newsom is in Davos lecturing the world, California is in an economic mess.

We have record state revenue driven by positive economic growth—yet for the first time in state history, California is facing its fourth consecutive budget deficit.

That tells you everything.
This is not a revenue problem.
This is a spending problem.

If we’re running deficits in good economic years, imagine how bad it will be in a downturn. Newsom’s budget proves why he shouldn’t be teaching anyone what to do unless it’s what NOT to do.

As the new Budget Vice Chair, I’ll be the bad guy who demands fiscal restraint, accountability, and putting Californians first.
