Let's provide to keep warm and feed two Belarusian anarchists and an anarchist woman fighting as part of the International Legion of Ukraine!
UA версія.

The sudden snowfall and severe weather conditions showed that the boys were ill-prepared for war in winter conditions.

Warm and high-quality clothes and shoes are essential for comrades' productive achievements and military success.

Currently, they are collecting money to buy winter clothes and shoes; the minimum required amount is 2000 €.

With these funds, they will buy winter shoes, sets of warm clothes for the 7th layer and water-repellent clothes, thermal underwear, as well as warm socks, gloves, heaters and other necessary winter equipment.

In addition, two of them are vegan. In military conditions, it is almost impossible to use ethical diets without the outside help of volunteers. Therefore, comrades need your support in this matter as well.

Dress up and match our team you can with these props.
It is mere not about “physical violence”, but about legitimate force against extremely violent and oppressive enemy.

It is with pain in our hearts that we wish to inform you of a terrible tragedy. On April 19, 2023, our comrade and friend, the Russian anarchist Dmitry Petrov, better known to you as Ilya "Leshy", died in the battle for the crucial road to Bakhmut.

Dima was one of the founders of the Resistance Committee and one of the first anarchists to take up arms to fight Putin's army. He began his service in the anti-authoritarian platoon, and afterwards, in the ranks of the volunteer unit, he fought the imperial troops in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

During those 1.5 years he proved to be a tenacious fighter, who could not be stopped by any obstacle on his way to creating an anarchist military unit and a sustainable anarchist organization.

As a consistent revolutionary and internationalist, he took part in the grassroots resistance and in the popular uprisings in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Risking his life, he visited Syrian Kurdistan and became one of the authors of Hevale resource, in the pages of which he told the Russian-speaking audience about the Kurdish liberation struggle.

Such active and combustible people are always sorely missed in our movement and his death is a great loss for us and for the liberation movement worldwide. Each of us will remember Dima as a role model.

Ilya Leshiy is forever in the ranks!
🇺🇸 We want to present to you the memories of another comrade that was killed in action on April 19th, 2023, in the same unit as Finbar Cafferkey and Dimitry Petrov :

Cooper Andrews aka Harris.

From a very young age he became involved in many struggles as a black autonomist - mobilizing amidst the police murders of Tamir Rice & Tanisha Anderson, on to the rhizome house, supporting antifascist struggles, mutual aid, and providing self defense training. Cooper was also a long time Popular Front supporter.

Cooper had enlisted in the Marines in order to gain training in self defense and to prepare to become an internationalist volunteer. When the war in Ukraine broke out, he felt this was the best opportunity to put his skills into action in the struggle against fascism. In November of 2022, Cooper joined the Foreign Legion and was scheduled to come home in March but decided to continue to fight together with comrades from the Resistance Committee.

Before he departed he had conversations about Spain and fascism and history, and he made it clear that he was going to Ukraine because of the humanitarian needs of the people there to his mother, Willow Andrews. She organizes a campaign to support initiatives that continue the work of her son:

“Cooper achieved so much in such a short time and we want to honor his work.
Through the Cooper Andrews Memorial Fund we hope to continue to grow organizations that Cooper cared about”

he had sent a letter to his comrades a month before he was killed from which comes those words:

“In our hands there is a world to win and a fight which requires great sacrifice. For us and everybody else who faces the shadow of fascist aggression, there is only victory or death. Love and struggle.”

We have been very inspired by hearing about his past activism and by talking to his comrades and relatives feeling such an amount of love around Cooper.

We will always remember his commitment and strength fighting within the Ukrainian resistance.
