4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Sovereign Lord, our Rock and Fortress, we thank You that You call us Your beloved children, sealed by Your Spirit and anchored in Your unchanging Word. In these times of testing, we find peace knowing our hope rests secure in You alone.
Father, in times like this, we are grateful that You ordain authorities to protect and preserve order in our land.
We pray that You grant wisdom to those entrusted with securing our borders and guarding our communities, that they may fulfill their important duties according to Your perfect will, bringing peace where there are threats of harm.
Holy Spirit, we pray that You shield our children from teachings that contradict Your truth, especially in our schools where Your Word faces resistance.
Grant us strength for the responsibilities You've given us in the week ahead, as we stand firm in faith. Unite us, Your believers, in unwavering conviction, transforming our concerns into calm focus and clarity about everything on our minds as we pray.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord,

Almighty Father, joy fills our hearts knowing that You call us Your children, adopted into Your eternal family through grace. We marvel at Your mercy that welcomes us through Your perfect love.
We pray that You will transform our spirits daily, molding us ever closer to Your Son's perfect image in these challenging days.
Lord, we bring before You the pain of recent violence against those who guard our nation, and we pray for Your comfort upon grieving families. As threats echo through our halls of power, we ask for Your protection in these dangerous times.
As our students and younger people face hostility for defending Biblical truth, we pray for Your strength to uphold them. And we ask that You heal the deep wounds that recent scandals have brought to Your believers.
Father, we see marriage and family straining under today's pressures. We pray that You will show us how to preserve these sacred bonds as we navigate economic hardships and cultural hostility.
Guide us through these storms with Your perfect wisdom, we pray. Fill us with such confidence in Your care that we transform every challenge into testimony. Unite us in such deep faith that our lives shine as beacons of Your unchanging truth.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, in these winter days when many speak Your name and recall the miracle of the birth of Your One and Only Begotten Son, we gather together to honor Christ, who took on flesh to save His people from their sins.
As mainstream religious institutions drift from Biblical foundations, and as spiritual darkness grows more bold in these last days, we thank You that Your Word still guides small gatherings of faithful believers, who choose the narrow path over earthly approvals.
We are thankful this year that our freedoms have been sustained to allow us to worship You.
And we pray; when government powers threaten to silence Your truth as they did in recent years, forever embolden us to speak it in our homes and quiet fellowships.
Mighty Father, our trust rests not in politics or big platforms, but in You alone. In Your grace, our households proclaim Your Gospel and as believers we declare Your unchanging truth.
With sincere hearts, we worship You, standing firm in Your eternal Word and walking in the steps of our Perfect Savior.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.

Today, this Sunday, December 21, 2025, is 224 weeks of writing prayers and posting them each Sunday,
here on my channel, the Jeff.pro channel,
where I talk about things you might not have known about technology, and other things that can help you,
and where I reflect on life, politics, and our United States of America.
People sometimes ask if I write my prayers by hand, or copy them from somewhere, or take some source as inspiration.
The answer is: I do read many prayers—more all the time—so I’m sure some of them do make their way into my heart and mind as inspiration.
And yes, every prayer I’ve posted has been my original work.
Each one, each prayer I post, every week, takes me about two to three hours to write, edit, and finalize.
Often listen to great Christian music while writing, usually early in the morning, while the family is still asleep.
I just think about everything we're going through, understanding my fellow Americans, and write a prayer to our Father in Heaven.
It’s a really special time.
I enjoy it very much.
Despite some of the people who send messages that say mean things, like that prayer shouldn't go on the same channel as my interests about technology, computers, etc., all of those "opinions,"
Whatever. lol.
It's just me, friends - what you see is what you get.
A somewhat liberal Californian turned “conservative deplorable” — probably always was a “deplorable” at heart; time just brought it out.
A life-long computer guy who found strength and faith in adversity. My story is one more example among many of how God transforms hearts.
Never imagined that in my "middle age" years, if that's what we can call them, (always an optimist), writing prayers would be more enjoyable than anything else,
it's truly the most pleasing kind of writing I’ve ever done.
Why not try it yourself sometime?
I promise you'll feel great.
Open up your heart and write a sincere letter to Him who loves you unconditionally and knows the entire story of your life.
You’ll be amazed at what happens as you grow closer to God.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading some of my prayers over the years.
Each one was written, and prayed, with utmost sincerity.
Through Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, God gave humanity its greatest gift in all of history.
Wishing you a blessed Sunday and a joyous Christmas season, dear friends.
For unto us a Child is born. 🙏

PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
As we stand near another new beginning, we acknowledge Your faithfulness through every season.
Today we pray for revival in our nation, which is so important to us.
As Your word promises, if we humble ourselves and pray, seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, You will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land.
We pray for that, Father.
Help make us more like Christ in this new year, turning our hearts away from ourselves and toward serving Your perfect will.
Equip us with Your full armor as we face the spiritual battles ahead.
Where we lack or fall short, we ask that You fill us with Your Spirit. Teach us, as Your Son did, to transform our daily struggles into opportunities for learning from You, and for grace.
And if You grant us prosperity, let us be generous; if hardship comes, let us be steadfast, strengthened by the Truth of Your word.
As we pray for revival, in this time when evil tries to prevail in our land, help us remember that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.
In this New Year, may our homes be sanctuaries of peace - protected by Your mighty hand from every attack of the enemy, and may our words and thoughts be enriched by Your teachings, and may our actions reflect Your mercy and love.
Let this year be marked not by our resolutions, but by Your sovereignty.
Whether in plenty or in want, in joy or in trial, may we fix our eyes first on our Redeemer, the author and perfecter of our faith.
We pray that You grant us wisdom to number our days, strength to carry each other's burdens, and hearts that overflow with gratitude. Not for our glory, but for Yours alone.
In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.
16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

PRAYER
Father in Heaven,
I pray to you as an American who writes prayers to share with those in my audience who sometimes follow along,
And so we pray to you today as Americans.
Today we have a prayer that is a little different than other weeks, because significant change is taking place here on earth.
I cannot speak for everyone among my audience, but can say what I believe to be true, and a feeling which I believe many of us share, when I say:
Maybe not everyone sees it. But some of us, we do believe we see it, and we see it clearly.
Some of us, we believe that You saved our rightful President in our American city of Butler, Pennsylvania,
And that you lifted him up to fight back against corruption,
And that he is now, by the grace of God, making significant changes that will advance truth, and freedom, in places where it matters most at home and around the world.
It is incredible, and it reminds us that You make all things possible.
We thank you for Your blessings upon all of us.
And as we recognize the triumph we also remember with heavy hearts all of the precious lives touched that tragic day in Butler.
We pray that you will continue to surround, with Your surpassing peace, the family of Corey Comperatore and all of our loved American families affected on that day; comfort them as the God of all comfort; and turn their sorrow into strength.
In Your mercy, defeat evil and let righteousness prevail.
Every day, we are grateful beyond words to be called your children.
We continue to study Your word. We pray that you continue to share your wisdom with us, Father.
We pray for Your forgiveness where we have fallen short.
Please bless us with the strength to attend our responsibilities, and the courage to face our challenges here on earth.
We trust Your perfect justice and unfailing love.
In the Holy name of Jesus,
Amen.

PRAYER
Sovereign Lord, we pray to You today grateful for Your faithful love toward our nation, rejoicing in Your enduring promises.
As Your truth faces resistance, and just when we feel we can’t take it anymore, we watch in awe as Your mighty hand moves across our land time and time again.
As reliable as the morning light, You meet us when we need it the most and, in many ways, give us the courage to begin a new day.
Is it true and we believe: Through Your steadfast watch over us and our nation, we see Your hand at work, sometimes in ways we didn't anticipate, but that always strengthen our faith.
Father, today we ask for Your Spirit of discernment to flow through Your earthly people with all their confusion and imperfections. Though that confusion now clouds young minds in our schools and public discussions, we rejoice that Your eternal truth shines forth in gentle power, as it always has in history's most important moments.
In these difficult days, change us by Your Holy Spirit, united in pursuing Your perfect peace on earth. Though many days we feel that with man this seems impossible, we remember our Lord's teaching that with God, all things are possible.
And so we pray without ceasing: Where division tears us apart, guide us through these dark times to find ways to unite for the common needs and goals, according to Your Word, and in Your light.
When earthly powers challenge our faith and liberty, comfort our hearts with the constant knowledge that our true citizenship is in heaven, where Christ reigns far above all principality and power.
Here on earth, as we sometimes struggle at work, at home, in our neighborhoods; we pray for our families and for those who guard our freedoms, seeking Your divine shield against forces that would assault Your perfect design.
And with humble yet hopeful hearts, we seek Your strength for our week ahead, that we may walk unwavering in faith.
We admit we don't always have the wisdom we need to make it through all of this on our own.
Let Your Spirit flow through us like morning light, awakening our hearts every day to devotion, so that Your truth may draw the lost to Your eternal grace.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord,

END OF WEEK DEVOTIONAL - NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US
Would never claim to know everything or to speak on behalf of anyone other than myself. I will say though:
If you ask me, I think God’s grace and love for those of us who trust in Him is greater than any of us can imagine.
Scripture shows that He is both perfectly loving and perfectly just.
He doesn't ignore or excuse sin, but He has satisfied His justice through the death and resurrection of His One and Only Son for all who trust in Him (Rom 3:23–26). 🙏
It was the single greatest gift to humanity in all of history (John 3:16).
Many, including many of God’s own people at the time, were not ready to recognize what was done, and still, even today, fail to see it.
We need to recognize it, though. How could we not? It is among the worst failures of the human heart when we do not see and understand, as best as we can, what God has done for us.
The Bible says that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours, which reminds us that His wisdom, His plans, and His love far surpass our limited understanding.
Not to sound unconcerned about our own pursuit of righteousness, which is fundamental, what I am saying is:
Even though we are still imperfect, I'm inclined to believe that those who are in Christ can be confident that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
And that is something we can be very happy about.
Happy Friday, from your computer fren, JP.

13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, our Refuge and Strength, we pray today with hearts full of gratitude, sensing Your Spirit moving like wind across our land.
We thank You for the victory this week that allows Your Truth to return to our classrooms, honoring the Biblical foundations of our nation as we approach our 250th anniversary.
We sense Your sovereign hand of protection, which we believe saved our President in Butler and continues to shield him today from the enemy's attempts on his life.
Lord, as spiritual deceptions target our children and schools, we pray for Your divine protection. Grant us the discernment to reject this evil and instead surround ourselves with Godliness. Help us to not be distracted by strange rumors or cultural noise, but to stay nourished in Your words.
Give us strength to meet our responsibilities in the week ahead, walking with a calm focus and the courage from Your teachings.
We trust that You, who hold all nations in Your hand, are awakening hearts and restoring order through Your perfect wisdom.
In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we stand in awe of Your mighty hand as it moves with divine purpose. Throughout history, Your Word has shown how You raise up and bring down kingdoms according to Your perfect will.
Father, we witness today Your sovereign authority displayed across distant lands where people have suffered for a long time. We see swift changes that unfold before our eyes, as we are thoughtful about prophecies.
Holy Spirit, as momentous events reshape the Middle East, we pray that You will grant wisdom to our nation's leaders and military personnel. Shield them as they defend freedom. When enemies plot destruction, we rejoice that You transform their evil plans into opportunities for Your divine purpose.
Lord, we pray for peace throughout the region. As sudden transformation brings uncertainty, we ask that You guide those newly freed from oppression toward governance that respects human dignity and religious liberty. May Your truth find fertile soil where persecution once reigned.
Father, in these pivotal times when Your prophetic Word seems to unfold before us, we pray that You will unite Your believers in prayer. Help us remember that while nations rise and fall, Your throne remains eternally secure. We trust in the name of the Lord our God.
We pray for the protection of innocent lives amidst these historic changes. Though warfare brings sorrow, we seek Your mercy for civilians caught in conflict, while rejoicing that Your justice prevails.
Grant us discernment as we navigate these momentous days, that we may understand the times. Let Your word arise as a beacon of hope, pointing many to salvation in Christ as events remind us of Your sovereign control over all human history.
