By the way I find it beautiful that in Hello from the Hallowoods we have a canonical autistic character and that character is an old poc lady and also that character never got an official diagnosis because

Bern did not trust any healthcare provider who was white, and hated being interrogated

And like yes yes she clearly has autistic traits and she sometimes gets overwhelmed by people but she still has a community she does fit in she has a place where she can be herself unapologetically she has a wife that sees her as the most amazing thing ever and there is not once a "Oh Poor Bern" sentiment
