I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being such a supportive and wholesome community for what was essentially born as a meme channel and is slowly becoming something more, with both me and the people in the group chat opening up more and having interesting, open hearted and fun discussions.
Sure, this place is not perfect, there's no such thing especially on the web, but I'm glad to have a space that feels both comfortable to me and other people.

Randomly thinking about the fact that we live in a time and place in which today I had to listen to a man not even twice my age ranting for an entire hour about very problematic stuff I won't repeat cause it was disgusting. And he felt so righteous in discriminating people. But I had to remain polite because "you'll never get a job otherwise, can't afford to make too many enemies in your field"

On the bright side, today I had a very nice conversation with my 13 yo sister, she came up to me to talk about capitalism and rainbow washing and ethics and stuff like that, and honestly she has better opinions that a lot of people twice her age. Bless her, she makes me believe in a better future
