Okay, but what's the moral of the story?
First of all, I don't personally think (as a person but also as a literature major) that every story has to have a moral, it can but it doesn't have to be the point of writing, or art in any way. You get it, right?
Well, anyway, I guess if I really should try to draw one out of it it's just that maybe idk connecting with people and really looking at stuff around us like landscapes and little tokens and shit can help us a bit. Like not solve our problems, shit is real, but like make it a little easier for a bit. Just, you know, we should be taking care of ourselves sometimes, like remember what we love about living, what are the good things about the world that maybe yes sucks but also has nice stuff. So I love you all.

If you are white, you benefit from racism, bc it keeps the status quo in place.
If you're cis, you benefit from transphobia.
If you are rich, you benefit from class.
If you're a (cis) man, you benefit from the violence of every man in keeping others in control, since it's the most dominant class over each and every one.
If you are white, you benefit from everything, basically.

We always need to put in the work to unlearn and decolonise our own internalise behaviour. It's a work in progress and it will never be ended: deal with it.

I'm gonna address the comments on the previous post later when more spoons, but I wanted to make a separate post for a really important thing.


I am a real dysfunctional person, and when my mood is not at its best, the messiness is one of the first things that I let myself indulge a little bit too much in. So, I was to the point I was too freaked out to even walk in my bedroom except for taking stuff, cause it felt too messy, too dirty, too big. Cleaning it was impossible.

Today, without saying a word, my amazing flatmate, who's having their fair share of shit from life as well, completely cleaned my room and made it comfy for me again. They don't expect anything in return, I have no money, cooking freaks me out and I don't have many means to actually repay them, but that's not what this is about. They helped me when I couldn't help myself, when I was spiraling too much to even ask for help.

I am just so grateful, and I had to share my love and my bless in this moment. I am so thankful I have amazing people in my life, I hope everyone has a support system that can help them bloom as well.
