Therefore, if you receive an update on xiaomi.eu, do not install it under any circumstances! Install the updates that will be posted here

Если установите обновление напримую из системы, тогда ваш телефон превратится в кирпич. Установливая обновление, которое пришло на телефон, окирпивит его. Дело в том, что обновления перепрошивают firmware (в том числе и загрузчик и другие низкоуровневые разделы телефона). Поэтому, если вы получили обновление например на xiaomi.eu, не в коем случаи не устанавливайте его! Устанавливайте обновления, которые будут выложены тут
