These are people so backward and behind in evolution that they didn't even have the wheel until Europeans introduced it to them. Most American coons have at least 1/4 European admixture, and that is probably the only reason they're able to semi-function in our society, and I'm actually being generous with that statement.

Harvard Study: Black neighborhoods are so disturbing that the animals once living there moved out too, but that's not the fault of black people. White racism did that.

"Systemic racism alters the demography of urban wildlife populations in ways that generally limit population sizes and negatively affect their chances of persistence."

In a study of 39 "terrestrial vertebrates" that did not include black people themselves, researchers found "generally consistent patterns of reduced genetic diversity and decreased connectivity in neighborhoods with fewer White residents."
White people left due to violence and crime and the animals followed. White people bad. Squirrel radicalization is now apparently the greatest threat facing black people.
"These results are concerning because urban biodiversity is important for human mental and physical well-being, and disparities in access to nature build on existing health-related environmental disamenities in predominantly non-White neighborhoods."

Their solution? Busing in wildlife. I'm not even kidding. Researchers called for: "equitably distributing and increasing the amount and connectivity of natural habitat in cities."
Notably, Harvard researchers chose not to address the topic of animal abuse in these communities or how such abuse would increase under their proposed squirrel and pit bull terrier busing efforts.
