MSNBC political analysts Cornell Belcher said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" that the outrage parents are experiencing over critical race theory is "not grassroots" but instead it is "organized and is being paid for." | Clips
Liberals within many Christian denominations (the SBC in particular) have attempted to bring CRT into the church while stipulating that, because they're only using it as an "analytical tool," it's completely harmless. This is deceit pure and simple, and we need to be on guard against it. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/critical-race-theory

How best to describe Calvinism's relationship to art? Perhaps, "It's complicated!" In all seriousness, I would argue the relationship between the two is generally misunderstood and too often underappreciated. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/calvinism-and-art

Christian use of images in worship has long been controversial, including in the early church. Contrary to what many believe, however, the early church tended to reject images, and they didn't become common facets of worship till the 4th century. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/the-history-of-images-in-the-church

The handful of disagreements between Catholics and Protestants on justification can be distilled into several questions: the nature of justification (substantive v. forensic), the action of justification (infusion v. imputation), the instrument of justification (faith v. baptism). https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/justification-key-questions

By almost any metric, the United States government has been growing quite rapidly ever since its formation. Not only has this trend accelerated dramatically over the past few decades, it’s hit warp speed with the covid control. This has prompted many Christians to critically contemplate exactly where the limits of the civil magistrate end. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/when-can-christians-disobey-the-government

A recent poll found 47% of Republicans believe the time will come when patriotic Americans will have to take the law into their own hands. Another found that more people - right and left - are considering secession. Another found that 66% of southern Republicans and 47% of west coast Democrats favor secession as well. t’s time we begin thinking through these things in a serious, deliberate manner, and what better place to begin our study than in the civil war our nation has already endured? https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/was-the-civil-war-justified
