This thoughtful Lutheran gent makes a couple of really good points:
1) SJW/Woke Progressivism is a religion of sorts.
2) All religions and societies impose moral boundaries.
3) "Cancel culture" is a type of excommunication and penance.
I think the proper Christian response is not to desire a libertarian tolerance (except as an intermediate step) but rather to realize that we are a political minority and become ready and willing to use any power that we might have or gain to enforce Christian ethics as much as possible. It's not whether but which.
