Thomas Nelson, owned by the same company as Fox News, publishes an anti-family screed. Look, the nuclear family is not some western invention. It is an inescapable necessity; man + woman = babies.

Tribes, nations, and ethnicities are collections of families. The backbone of every culture is how it handles marriage, child rearing and family.

The author, Jeff Bethke, got famous for making a viral spoken word poem noscriptd, "Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus." Consider this a reminder that the evangelical establishment's mission is solely to subvert genuine Christianity.

The notion that politics should not be addressed from the pulpit is patently ridiculous. If one believes Jesus (not Caesar) is Lord, that all authority on earth belongs to him (Matt. 28:18), and thus his law-word must be obeyed, politics will inevitably come up. Conservatives' refusal to address politics biblically from the pulpit, and liberals' converse willingness to, is yet another reason why conservatives always lose their institutions, their churches, their children, and their country to the left.

Happy New Year! The past few years have been hard, and no doubt, the next few will be also. But let's continue to push forward the kingdom of God in our respective vocations throughout 2022. Hard times like these are what forces us to become men we are commanded to be. Here's to another year of crushing Satan beneath our feet, kings! 🥂
