Me: “Homoousios” or “Homoiousios?”
Him: What?
Me: You’re not the real St. Nicholas.

If you spport mass immigration, third world refugees, welfare, etc., you hate your neighbors.
You hate your European neighbors being ethnically replaced, you hate your peaceful countrymen being terrorized by third world criminals, and you hate your taxpaying neighbors being robbed by the government to support useless parasites.
And if you take issue with the above statements because they weren't adequately winsome, you're a low-T beta male.

"It is not to taste sweet things; but to do noble and true things, and vindicate himself under God's heaven as a God-made man, that the poorest son of Adam dimly longs. Show him the way of doing that, the dullest day-drudge kindles into a hero. They wrong man greatly who say he is to be seduced by ease. Difficulty, abnegation, martyrdom, death, are the allurements that act on the heart of man. Kindle the inner genial life of him, you have a flame that burns up all lower considerations."

“Your wickedness makes you as it were heavy as lead, and to tend downwards with great weight and pressure towards hell; and if God should let you go, you would immediately sink and swiftly descend and plunge into the bottomless gulf, and your healthy constitution, and your own care and prudence, and best contrivance, and all your righteousness, would have no more influence to uphold you and keep you out of hell, than a spider’s web would have to stop a falling rock.
Were it not for the sovereign pleasure of God, the earth would not bear you one moment; for you are a burden to it; the creation groans with you; the creature is made subject to the bondage of your corruption, not willingly; the sun does not willingly shine upon you to give you light to serve sin and Satan; the earth does not willingly yield her increase to satisfy your lusts; nor is it willingly a stage for your wickedness to be acted upon; the air does not willingly serve you for breath to maintain the flame of life in your vitals, while you spend your life in the service of God’s enemies.”
Jonathan Edwards

South Africa is 10x worse than any Western country and it still hasn't collapsed. Until it happens in South Africa, speculating about a collapse in the West (and the perceived benefits of such) is a escapist cope.

In the Baptist vs Presbyterian debate, which side has the burden of proof? We all agree that infants were included in the covenant of grace; Presbies are arguing God never changed this system, and Baptists are saying He did. But to support a radical change from the OC like throwing an entire class of people out of the covenant, we would need explicit support for that proposition, so the burden of proof is on the Baptists. And of course, since they can find no such verse, Presbyterianism is true.

Men, do not be so concerned with finding a woman who is completely informed doctrinally or politically. If she has a feminine spirit and submissive attitude, she will adopt your beliefs.
Women, do not be so concerned with finding a man who is completely mature or successful. If he has a masculine spirit and a virile attitude, he will grow into that which you esteem him to be.

The lie of our age is that we ought to seek "the one," who will be a prepackaged perfect custom designed specimen for our desires. The reality is that we ought to seek a spouse who has the root of the matter in them, and can grow up into the fullness of Christ.
A woman, since her primary need is for love, will want to make herself beautiful to her husband and so conform over time to his desires.
A man, since his primary need is for respect, will want to make himself worthy of the honor his wife shows him and so conform to her desires.

One of the arguments for open borders is missional: once migrants come to America, they will become more Christian as they assimilate.
