Elon Musk is cleaning up Child Sexual Exploitation on Twitter.
Last week, Twitter added a direct reporting option for child sexual exploitation. (ONLY on tweets with content images/videos) this was not previously available and was a separate form that wasn’t easy to find.
Twitter is also noticeably working on the removal of hashtags known to be used to sell Child pornography. These are known hashtags that are used for trading CSE on the platform. In the video below, attorneys Lisa Haba and Peter Gentala, Two attorneys, describe how Twitter allows the hashtag system to spread CSE and how Google magnifies it.
I highly recommend following @elizableu as she has been one of Twitters fiercest critics on removing this type of content. Looks like Elon is listening!
