Jandakot residence in Western Australia are now being affected by the toxic chemical PFAS in their water and they are being forced to drink bottled water. The chemical that is found in the foam that fire fighters use to fight fires has been found in the water so they have been advised not to drink the water, not to use it to water their gardens or fill their swimming pools.
The residence are left not knowing how long this will go on for and what they should do. Very worrying for them.

I am a forever skeptic. There are things I believe in, things I’m not sure about, and things I believe in but still question the commonly pushed ideas about that subject.
For instance, time travel (believe in). I can’t fathom that mankind will not reach a point that we wither invent, or stumble upon, time travel. Maybe next year, maybe in 1000 years. But, if time travel exists at any point in time, then it must exist in every point in time. So, I most certainly believe in it. Do we have the capability now, short of a time traveler picking us up for a ride? I have no idea.
Flat earth (not sure about). Two years ago I would’ve written off anyone who said that first sentence. But, I’ve been down the rabbit hole on it. I’ve seen NASA admit to lying. I’ve seen NASA documents categorizing earth as a flat. And, I’ve seen other stuff that makes me question what we’ve been taught, the globe model. Why would we trust the very people we know lie to us about everything else on this one topic? Am I saying the earth is flat, no. But, I know they lie to us and I’ve seen enough to believe it’s definitely not what we’ve been taught. Maybe its a MUCH larger sphere. Maybe it is flat. Maybe we’re in a big bowl, who knows. I do know they lie though, and I know the Bible speaks of us being under a firmament. As a Christian, it is somewhat hard to go against what the Bible puts forth. So, on flat earth, I’m not sure about it, but I am open to receiving proof either way. I’m not going to shutdown when confronted with evidence of either model.
Finally, I believe in God. I believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of mankind and resurrected to take His place in Heaven next to the Father and that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. BUT, I think we’ve also been misled by man on other teachings and question the commonly pushed ideas surrounding Christianity. I can give no specific examples because I think they’ve hidden away knowledge we never had and that would prove many things taught to be false. I believe this because it is the nature of man to do so to keep/gain power. The Vatican holds many books of the Bible that were never entered, Bible is literally short for Bibliography, a collection of works, and it has went through 2 Councils of Nicea where decisions were made by man on it’s content. AND, Revelations 22:19 says “and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” That alone shows me God gave man free will and knew the Bible would be altered.
So, I think we all need to remain the skeptics. We need to question everything, including our engrained beliefs and some of those we may even be conditioned to be repulsed from questioning. It is the nature of those in power, those who seek it, to lie, cheat, and steal to get it and keep it.
Remain open minded when evidence is put before you confirming or challenging your beliefs, weigh it, and decide which way you then lean. But, continue to remain open minded to new evidence!

因此，我认为我们都需要保持怀疑者的身份。我们需要质疑一切，包括我们根深蒂固的信仰，以及一些我们甚至可能被调教为排斥质疑的信仰。那些有权力的人，那些追求权力的人，为了得到并保持权力，会撒谎、欺骗和偷窃，这是他们的本性。
当有证据摆在你面前证实或挑战你的信仰时，请保持开放的心态，权衡一下，然后决定你会倾向于哪种方式。但是，要继续对新的证据保持开放的心态。
