June 16 Evergrande will be officially removed from the index (btw they already have been removed from SEC records for weeks now)!
IMHO you think today was a bad market day...watch the ripple effects of Evergrande being removed with a price at $0!
Big Banks and Hedgies invested heavily in bonds with Evergrande.
Evergrande...a China based company / penny stock/ based in Cayman Islands...and since they will be deemed worthless on Wednesday June 16, 2022, that means Big Banks and Hedgies cannot show those bonds as assets!
With New Regulations requiring Wall Street to show proof of their assets prior to making an investment....Wall Street can't show those assets!
With markets at nearing one year lows...oh boy...this COULD effect the housing markets too! Do I hear Bubble?
