What is going on in this park in Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴 ?
Said to be installed in the 1940’s by “artist” Gustav Vigeland, this sculpture park is comprised by different areas, each more peculiar than the other.
“The sculpture depicts 121 human figures clinging and floating together. There's women and men of different ages, and the top of the Monolith is crowned with children.” - The Monolith Sculpture is in the shape of an obelisk. An obelisk made of…people.
Don’t know about you, but I feel outraged by this whole place.
The more you look the more shocking it gets : aerial view speaks volumes too. To me it looks like after the last reset someone was hired to place some “art” to mock the sacred space and hide its true purpose.
