Last weeks have been a disaster and today & tomorrow are gonna be awful but here some things I have read that stood out to me even tho they’re not that special tbh
Boku-tachi no Shitai Sagashi was so fucking good. I’d already read and loved Kurosagi by the same author years ago, this has the same creepy and morbid vibes but also has the choking feel of summer that really went well with this week’s hellish weather
They just reprinted Vagabond and holy fucking shit I’m liking it so much it could be honestly dangerous
Kabushiki Gaisha MagiLumiere was an unexpected but delightful surprise. I love magical things in a technological setting. It also has the power fantasy of a start up caring for u as a human being, and an old man dressed like a magical girl, which were both very nice

At my job, sometimes people will come because they want to chat with someone. Which is mostly fine, I’m good at light chitchat, I think.
I think you have to try and understand, and have some empathy. These people probably don’t have someone to talk about their interests in their day-to-day lives, so the smiling shop clerk is as good as any. Just try to have some empathy, yes you are tired but it’s not so bad.
And then. Then the guys who stays the whole afternoon to read you ALL the effects of the new Magic: the Gathering cards, a game you don’t play, you don’t know how to play, you have no interest in playing, will come along.

Look I don’t mind talking about MTG I usually have a lot of fun. I usually ask about it. How are you finding the new sets? What do you think about the ones coming out? What decks, what formats do you play? Have you found anything good in you boosters? Wow that art is really pretty.
