Reminder that my father stopped talking to me when I called him out on his shit behavior and he’s not contacted me ever since

Near where I live there is this big depression in the ground I call The Hole. I’ve never been able to take a picture that captures how big it is, how steep its wall, how absolutely disjointed it feel from the rest of the scenery. I used to joke it was straight up out of a TMA episode.
But
It has been raining a lot, but since the temperature stays pretty high the grass is still growing.

There is a fucking desire path in The Hole now, that cuts straight through it.

My anxiety level is sky high this evening, so of course my head is running five separate thought processes in the attempt to distract me. Most of them are small mini essays narrated as if somebody gives a fuck about small personal things of mine.

For instance my relationship with my Madonna moments, when a piece of media makes me stop and say “oh Madonna” (oh our lady, mother of god)

Almost none of my favourite works has had a Madonna moment, but I have very high opinion of all the works that gave me one
