I never understood the appeal of pure, physical, unadulterated fanservice until i read Golden Kamuy for the first time years ago. Now I do. Now I see the burly hairy men losing the button on their shirts because of their huge pecs or getting naked for the dumbest of reasons, I see parts of this histerical, whimsical, gory story exist only because the author had, he absolutely had to, to show men almost naked and i say: i get it. this was needed. This could not exist any other way.

I could also talk about how the women are children, grannies or something dangerous and scary and seeing one naked is like seeing a predator about to kill you, but that’s for another time.
