The organisation

Transgender Europe (TGEU) is a member-based organisation founded in 2005 dedicated to strengthening the rights and wellbeing of trans people in Europe and Central Asia through advocacy, capacity building, and support. We are a values-driven network of 195 member organisations in 48 different countries. TGEU is based in Berlin, Germany, with 12 staff members and a member-selected Board responsible for the organisation’s governance. More information about the organisation may be found at tgeu.org.

#Monkeypox: vaccino in #Italia da settembre!

Certamente ne avranno accesso prioritario le persone con patologie gravi,

quelle che già fanno prevenzione farmacologica per l’HIV (chi è in #PrEP) e chi si dichiara sex worker.

Il programma di comunicazione dovrebbe iniziare dai primi di settembre, con l’arrivo di nuove dosi vaccinali che dovrebbero portare il Paese da uno stoccaggio attuale di 5300 dosi a oltre 16 mila dosi.

Considerato che ogni persona si deve vaccinare con due dosi, l’accesso sarà promosso per circa 8 mila persone.

Si studierà quindi l’andamento dell’epidemia per valutare il fabbisogno del 2023.

Le organizzazioni HIV parteciperanno alla definizione del messaggio più adeguato, prima di delegare le regioni alla somministrazione.

What?
TRANSforming Endometriosis Research is a multidisciplinary research project that aims to bring together scholars of different disciplines to address the health needs of transgender and gender diverse (TGD) people living with endometriosis.

The planned activities of this project consist of twelve presentations and six multidisciplinary group work sessions whereby researchers with different backgrounds will share the newest development regarding endometriosis care among TGD people in their field.

Who?
The workshop wants to bring together scholars with a diversified background for an intensive and multidisciplinary research experience.
For example, we encourage people such as the following to apply: social scientists, sex therapists, mental health researchers, medical doctors, policy makers, patient advocates.

Our group is LGBTQ+ centered and LGBTQ+ lead, with many of us identifying within the target community of this research project. We encourage an active participation of LGBTQ+ community members in general, and TGD people more specifically, to promote community-based bottom-up research. We stimulate a safe(r) space for TGD health researchers to forward their needs and collaborate within and beyond the LGBTQ+ community.
