Habib Bank’s Dhar Bazar branch was suddenly closed at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 30, and a notice was displayed outside the branch directing customers to transact at branches in Hijara, Rawalakot or Khaigala. According to the notice, the reason for the branch closure was attributed to security concerns.
According to information, the branches of Hijira, Khaigula and Tarakhal can also be closed at any time.

Tensions with India: Citizens in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir instructed to stockpile 2 months worth of food.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, the so called Prime Minister of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, told the local assembly on Friday: "Instructions have been issued to stockpile two months' worth of food in 13 constituencies bordering the Line of Control."
He said the government has also set up an emergency fund of one billion rupees ($3.5 million) to ensure the provision of "food, medicines and all other basic necessities" in these 13 constituencies.
The so called Prime Minister further said that government and private machinery is also being delivered to the spot for the rehabilitation of roads in areas adjacent to the Loc.
