Joining party without accepting

Just had a bad experience with a bean, need to vent

I randomly met this bean while playing solo. He stopped near me, asked for piggyback, and became friends by saying "Hello!" and such to each other. He did the same in the next round (Slimescraper) but he died: he then sent me a friend request and invited to play.

To be fair I was tired and I would have stopped playing was it not for him, but it would have been rude not to accept the invite. Also he was on Xbox while I'm on Playstation, so no real way to communicate other than in-game emotes.

My idea was to win one game, do the Hello emote in the lobby, and leave:

First game, we lose in the last round before the final, we both played poorly

Second game, we get disconnected before the final

Third game, he's the first to die in the final, while I'm the runner up

Fourth game, again disconnected before the final

Fifth game, he died first in Sum fruit, I try to regain points by tricking the other players but I die too

I'm going to play again, just to make him happy... He leaves without doing Hello emote or anything, and even deletes me from friend list :( I feel very sad he treated me like that, I could have indeed played better and maybe won (In a game I got second place as I said) but honestly I didn't really want to play anymore to begin with, after each game part of me wanted to do the Hello emote in the lobby and peacefully leave, instead I kept playing to make him happy, and in the end he treated me like that

This game really should have a chat/DM feature

Sometimes when my teammates in Duos leave the game too early, thinking they are eliminated when they're not ...and I kept playing on my own and actually won the whole thing, I really wanna rub it in their faces, by telling them how stupid it was for them to leave and that they missed a win and the rewards of it.
Anyone else feel the same?
