How to play Favorite maps?

There are certain round 4 maps that my son and I really enjoy playing, and would like to play them more frequently. Is there a way to simply play the maps that we enjoy the most?

Some of these include Jump Club, Piet Pressure and Jump Showdown, Hop a Drome.

Being trapped in a loading screen is just a bad design.

If players miss the tiny little window of time to opt out of spectating a round once they are eliminated, we are stuck with having to wait until the next map loads to get back to the main menu. This is stupid and wasteful. We should be able to exit to the lobby whenever the hell we feel like it. Being trapped in a loading screen is just a bad design.

Explain star chart to me like I am an idiot

I thought I knew what to do, but I have just come out of a game where only 3 beans qualified while the rest of us scratched our bean heads failing at life until it timed out.

I know you press a button and choose a path that lights up on the star chart, but I have 2 questions.

1. How do I tell if one of the half way intersecting paths exist? I don't remember them being shown on tha chart.

2. In the game I just played there appeared to be no way forwards from the 3 closest platforms. Everything was going sideways or backwards. What to do here?

Are there any tips I am missing? Do the paths ever change within 1 game or always static? Can you jump across near the end? Anything else?
