Fall for a new 3v3 arcade sport when **Fall Guys Crown Jam** hits Fortnite.
From January 23 to February 9, jump into a whole new experience where the Beans battle for the crown amidst chaos.
Dunk, shoot, tackle and pass your way to victory inside the Crown Jam Arena, full of bouncers, ramps and chances to use new Hype Abilities (more on that later).
Jump into Unranked for a laid-back hoop session or crank it up with Ranked for more competitive play and ballin’ rewards. Unlock rewards and flex them in any other mode in Fortnite.
* Complete the **Crown Jam Kickstart quests** to earn a brand-new **Blue Plushie Bean Back Bling.**
* There’s also brand new Ranked quests on the line. Climb up the ranks to earn: **Crown Jam Spray, Crown Jam Loading Screen, Hammerball Spray, Less Fallin’ More Ballin’ Jam Track, Crown Spray, and the Crown Ball Back Bling.**
To celebrate the launch of Crown Jam, the all-new **Slam Dunk Costume** will be FREE in the Fall Guys Shop starting today.
**How To Crown Jam**
You’ll be assigned one of six Crown Jam clubs, each bringing its own flavor and splash of color to the arena:
* **Dunktown Dinos**
* **Plunderdome Pirates**
* **Bean City Birds**
* **Fairycorn Stampede**
* **Fallhalla Longboats**
* **Windy Wood Howlers**
**HYPE ABILITIES**
**What is Hype?**
Hype is the energy generated by the crowd! Each successful and daring action you perform: **Passing, Shooting, Tackling and Stealing and scoring Goals**, hypes up the crowd and in turn builds up your Hype Meter.
Hype Abilities are show-stopping special moves that can turn the tides in a match. When you’re glowing with energy, wait for the right moment to trigger your selected ability.
Before the match kicks off, make your first big call - pick one of three **Hype Abilities** to shape how you play and give your team the edge:
* **Big Bean -** Transform temporarily into an unstoppable giant bean.
* **Bounce Pad -** Throw a trampoline to foil your rivals’ plans, or use it as an escape route.
* **Confetti Crash -** Target in sight? Blast a confetti projectile at the opposing team to ragdoll them.
**Movement in Crown Jam** gets an upgrade too 👀 Use ramps to build ramps boost your movement, hop on bouncers to make massive dunks - and choose the right path to maneuver and outplay your opponents when taking it to the hoop!
Knock out every quest, dunk your way to glory, and enjoy the chaos in the Arena before February 9th! 👑

I regret to inform you that Crown Jam in Fortnite is actually really fun
Extremely simple controls. I played it in ranked using a cellphone and touch controls with no issue.
You tackle, pass, shoot, dunk as your main actions.
The games are fast. Five minute rounds or mercy end if one team is up by four goals (Won my two games 4-0).
Finish five rounds (i.e. don't rage quit) get the free blue plush bean backbling to go with the pink one if you earned that back in Chapter 5 (You don't need the pink one to earn the blue one)
It is clearly an experiment which is why it is only three weeks. So no emotes, importing skins, etc.
But if you're a Fall Guys veteran, you will absolutely clean up against others. It's so intuitive and feels like a legacy FG team game

Some will insult me, and yet I have faith in the future of the game.
First, let me give you some context:
I'm a passionate Fall Guys player and I've been playing it since it came to PS Plus in 2020. There hasn't been a single day or month I haven't spent money on the game (even though paying for Kudos was a controversial topic in Season 2). Since SS4, I haven't spent any money because I no longer see the point after they canceled the seasons. I loved the decision to cancel the themed seasons because what keeps the game fresh isn't the theme, but having new levels to master. Now I come to the reason for my post: I play a LOT of other games that I also love, but if Fall Guys were to disappear completely, I would be devastated. Truly devastated. Now we come to the part of the post where people will insult me... I don't think the idea of porting Fall Guys to Fortnite is a bad idea; I much prefer to continue playing it on another game. This game holds a huge place in my heart ❤️. I also think the community is incredible on this game (not perfect, like any game), the fact that the ENTIRE community is rebelling against the developers to continue playing our favorite game. It's like we're an army of beans mobilizing in front of the Epic Games and Mediatonic studios. Obviously, porting Fall Guys to Fortnite is the last thing I want. I want to continue playing Fall Guys ON Fall Guys, not another game! But if that were the only option, I'd play Fortnite. Sorry for the long text. I'm happy to have been part of this community since the very beginning of this amazing game, and I'll continue to keep it going 🫡

New to the game, question with crowns?
Excuse me if this is dumb. But I'm new to the game, started yesterday. I notice I've completed 3 legs of the crown shard challenge. The 30, 45, and 1 crown currency. So when I go to crown rank (the only place I've found to use crowns and shards) it says I have 0/1 crowns and 15 out of 60 on my shards. Can someone explain this to me please? Where are my crowns? How do I spend them, why is there so much currencies?
