The spirit of Christmas is dead. Worst gameweek of the entire season.
- Out of respect for Boxing Day and also just football in general I’m not even gonna waste time talking about that shitshow.
- Jesus replaces the turkey in 71’. Timber nowhere to be seen with no warnings is Bomboclarteta at his finest. He’s got less hair than Pep nowadays.
- Reindeer scores on Christmas. This is great, the jokes are literally writing themselves. Stop me if you’ve heard this one; all of my City assets. That’s it, that’s the entire fucking joke.
- Chalobah, The Ghost of Christmas Present, gets zero (yes, zero) DEFCONS in spite of playing the whole game. Watkins haul for dead teams.
- Van Dick with the usual. Moving on.
- Donkey Calvert-Lewin scores AGAIN. Said it before and I’ll say it again; he could score 30 in a row and I’d still quarantine my team from him.
- Pigeon gets 2 disallowed goals. Not that anyone owns him, I just thought that was funny. Mateta’s bald.
- And there were COUNTLESS injuries, you’re lucky if your entire team even played. Good thing we get 5 more transfers when AFCON ends hahahahaha.
Was that the last gameweek of 2025? Brilliant I’ll see you next year.

Free Hit Gameweek 19 discussion ? - kinda ?
Anyone with Free Hit stuck on some REALLY bad players? I've been regretting holding FH for so long but damn, there's not many choices to pick for this gameweek.
"Easy" fixtures are supposedly:
Burnley vs Newcastle
Nottingham Forest vs Everton
West Ham United vs Brighton
Crystal Palace vs Fulham
Liverpool vs Leeds
Manchester United vs Wolves
but Newcastle away is in shambolic form (1 win, 3 draws, 5 losses - only win is vs Everton).
NFO vs Everton is a hit or miss - I can see Everton defending for their life but I can also see someone random hauling like Hudson-Odoi or Anderson even.
WHU vs BHA is also kinda random, West Ham are tragic but Brighton have literally 2 points from last 5 games(!)
Palace vs Fulham? Palace players don't have legs anymore. Though maybe someone like Robinson could be fun?
Liverpool vs Leeds - idk, Liverpool struggled vs dead last Wolves. Wirtz maybe? Gravenberch? Ekitike? Frimpong? There are options, just not convinced Liverpool is that good
and last but not least....
United vs Wolves - United barely won vs awful Newcastle but Cunha was useless (FPL-wise) so go for D-brothers in Dorgu and Dalot? But those are 2 defenders and United aren't exactly known for their CS abilities.
Help out bros, I'm struggling to field a team while using 2nd most powerful chip in the game...

A question for Nottingham Forest Fans.
Is John likely to become Nottingham Forest’s permanent first choice goalkeeper? His price is very attractive, and Sean Dyche’s teams are usually strong defensively and have high clean sheet potential. In the long term, would it be better to bring in John, or should i just buy Dubravka since they’re priced the same?

Since he got his surgery, he's been doing pretty well fitness-wise. In terms of performances, he's been outstanding. I think he'll be easily one of the highest scoring defenders by the end of the season, but that obviously depends on whether he is still injury-prone.
Chelsea fans and anyone who watches Chelsea a lot, do we know whether Reece will play the majority of games from now or will he be played carefully? Additionally, would it be safer to just go Sanchez if you want Chelsea defense?
