I just though about it…
So Hell clearly loves watching V1 and other machines go on killing sprees of demon and damned alike. However, what exactly is Hell going to do when both the husks AND machines eventually go extinct? Hell can’t just make more husks, and the machines can’t survive without blood. Even if it reconstructed them using hell energy, you take away the one thing that makes them go murderous. So what is Hell going to do? Will it start tormenting demons? Will it try to take Heaven or Earth over? Will it FINALLY be able to create something non hateful for once in its existence?

(as a trans person) I am disappointed in this community in the pronouns discussion
Firstly, I want to add a disclaimer that this post is not meant to "force" you to call the Powers a specific pronoun, and secondly, I am not implying that the people who don't call them (plural) are transphobic, I am simply asking y'all to not justify the reason for calling Powers a specific pronoun in a certain way, because as a trans person, I genuinely feel a bit uncomfortable. So this terminal entry establishes 2 things: Angels have no gender (even if Powers sound feminine), and greater angels (which Powers are) prefer male pronouns. For a community with so many trans people, I'd figured y'all would figure out that powers are pretty clearly an analogy for Transmasc people. The game has proven itself to have trans representation, another one is the Mindflayer, whose want for a specific gendered body for cosmetic purposes is also pretty clearly [...]

Theory: Treachery will mimic post-life Earth
Both layers in Act 3 so far have represented a state of the Earth since the Ultrakill universe's point of diversion from real life: Violence mimicked the Earth during the Final War, and Fraud, the New Peace. So, I think it makes sense for the final layer to mimic the final stage of the planet, that being a barren wasteland devoid of color and life. That would also be somewhat similar to how Treachery is described in Inferno, being cold, frozen wastes, but without all the ice, since from what we can see in the end of Act 2 cutscene and in 8-3, the planet seems to have been dried rather than frozen.
Perhaps this has already been teased before? The grey, dead landscape represented in the screens from 1-E could be imagery from Treachery.
I also think it would be thematically appropriate for the game to end in a desolate and lifeless place, just as the V1 and the universe itself seem to be breathing their last.
Though admittedly, there is barely any evidence for this.

I feel like I should share my interpretation of the Angel's pronoun system
I really think the spelling in the terminal entry matters, and therefore the category 'Greater Angel' and the adjective+noun of 'greater angels' are two different things. Angels that are considered closer to God are in heavens hierarchy considered greater. But maybe I'm dumb and am misinterpreting things. EDIT: u/johanni30 mentioned that the Council called Gabriel 'it' during one of the act finisher text thingies. So probably replace they/them with it/its.

I noticed this small detail, maybe I'm right maybe I'm wrong.
When fighting Gabriel in Act I, the eye in the middle of the heart room keeps staring at him. But then in Act III in the same arena that reappears in 8-3, the eye stares at V1 while in the presence of the other angel Power. Maybe this kinda shows how the priorities of Hell shifted, maybe shows its new judgement toward V1?
