I think Lucifer was a twink
No trace of Lucifer (or whatever archangel it is) can be seen in the painting. This is obviously because Francis didn't draw the missing archangel Lucifer is a twink. On a serious note, it actually makes sense character-design-wise that God's Kindness, "an angel so bright and beautiful", is the smallest/shortest of them all and is depicted as an innocent little angel.
