How do I make the Terminal Effect in Unity 2D?

I'm currently working on a text-based adventure game and I want it to look pretty.

I'm thinking the kind of vibe inspired by the Terminal in SUPERHOT, I just don't know how I'm supposed to do this and there are no tutorials or documentation for this that I can find.

Anyone got any tutorials, docs, or ideas?

Where to start nowadays?

What If I we're to start trying to develop games with Unity. Let's say 2D for now and see what the future brings. I know that Unity has Unity Learn, but would you recommend going through these lessons first? Or would you dive into specifics on for example something like Udemy? Any advice for a beginner?
