App that can cast local files

I currently use Solid Explorer to cast local videos to my Chromecast but the controls are finicky. Fast forwarding and rewinding can cause endless buffering that requires starting the video over and hoping I can find the right spot by clicking on the progress bar.

So I think it's pretty obvious that I'm looking an app that handles this a little bit better.

I'm using this app to utilize my phone as a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse for my steam deck. This is incredibly useful, but some features are locked behind pro. Before I commit to buying it, I was wondering if the community knew of any apps, preferably open source but not necessarily so, that do what this one does the same or better. Middleware for credit card data

hi I’m writing a budgeting app for my family (yep! another one) because none of the correct ones really work for us.

I want to be able to get data form credit card companies on what is being spent. is there any middleware that I can subscribe to that does this? I don’t want to have to implement and maintain the middleware myself. Thanks

Translate any currently playing audio

So, say you have a voice message in a different language, is there an app that can translate and then output in text? I tried running Google Live Translate in a split screen while playing the audio file and the translation stops as soon as the audio starts.

Live captions would be great if it could translate as well.

FairMail - Delete

Hi. I am new to FairMail, so am trying to get used to the interface. I have ADHD, so find it all a bit overwhelming. I have my email on Mailbox.org and use Apple Mail on my Mac to read my mail. When I delete emails on FairMail, they are not deleting on Mailbox.org/AppleMail, is there a way to fix that? I really can't deal with seeing and deleting things twice.

Calendar app that doesn't need access to Google Calendar?

I am new to the Android ecosystem. I also have significant lack of trust in Google, so I am looking for a calendar app (either free or one-time purchase) that does not require access to the Google calendar and does not sync with it. I do not require any special features, just an independently functioning basic calendar. I've already looked at DigiCal and Etar and neither meet my requirements.

Google widget voice searches

I used to be able to just click the search bar on my Home screen and then speak and do a normal Google search. Now it Always wants to go through some kind of assistant or something giving feedback for whenever i've started and stopped the microphone , it's all too much and very annoying. No matter what settings , i've changed , nothing seems to get rid of this. Does anyone have any idea how to get it back to the way it was?

I need a FREE note taking app with Free sync, fast and also has markdown features.

Hey guys,
I need an app that I can use for taking my notes. I have tried Notion, but it is a bit laggy on my device.
I need an app with FREE sync with my laptop, should have markdown features (no preview) like notion.
I've also tried Obsidian, but setting up Syncthing on it was a headache so I just dropped it.
I also tried joplin, but I didn't like the markdown preview feature. I need something that instantly converts a shortcut to markdown.
