Enjoy things at the moment...don't take anything for granted.

This is more off something off my chest, not related to gaming per se.As a kid I really enjoyed gaming and my whole childhood was about me gaming. Unfortunately I didn't have an appropriate rig that time for the more processor demanding games(this is in 2011) and had to skip out on a lot of awesome noscripts back then and had to feel content either watching others play (didn't like gaming on others pc) or hearing about them hyping the games up.When I finally had the money to own one...I bought my first gaming Laptop.Felt proud as this was the first step to realising one of my many childhood dreams. Then I started to play and I felt..... nothing... empty. The joy I had before can't be found now.Im no longer surrounded by my friends who talk excitedly about gaming. We are all talking finances, marriage, job market.Playing games has turned into another deadline, trying to finish the game.I know this is not the same for everything and there are adults who still enjoy gaming like they used to before.....just my perspective.I do enjoy gaming now,but not as much as before. So this is more of an advise.....dont leave the dreams you have for latter, try to do it now if possible. The only right time is now.By the time you have the money to realise all your dreams, you might find that your heart has moved on.

PSA: We have a strict policy regarding Sale threads - please go through them!

Please go through our Sales Thread Guidelines from the rules https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianGaming/about/rules/

We are getting more and more such threads and a lot of them are not following the guidelines and getting removed. We understand these are strict or complicated but it is designed to discourage scammers and make more people aware of the general bait and switch type scams we get.

That being said, we also remove posts from people asking if someone is selling something or posting a thread to "know what price I should be selling at" etc. The problem with allowing such threads is that the scammers then use such price appraisal threads or want to buy threads to find more targets to scam. Unfortunately we have had a lot of such incidents over the years and being strict about sales threads have helped reduced these cases over time.

The golden rule remains the same - if someone asks you to go into DMs then the entire thing is on you, the community cannot help. By making all the relevant info public for a listing, the community has an upper hand in calling out bullshit or scams and help each other in making better choices.

Reseller platforms, brokers, "admin method" bros, second hand buy/sell operations all are out there to make money, ethically or not - we are not.

The sub has always helped each other find good deals and make good sales so please keep doing that and report any such rulebreakers and sus accounts to us - we take it seriously.
