Boy Oh Boy, the DLC
I think I read somewhere, sometimes that the DLC could be explored thoroughly with 2 or 3 sessions of gameplay and I gotta say: that is absolutely not the case for me. Mainly because every time I go in there and >!the lights turn off, !< I am shaking in my boots. I thought Dark Bramble had been stressful but I've reached chihuahua levels of shaking while going through some sections of Echoes of the Eye.
I think I've FINALLY found a place to give me some more context about what happened, but that came after I ran around like a headless chicken for an entire run >!in almost total darkness. !< A friend was watching me play the first time, and once >!I turned off all the lights!< and panicked because I hadn't actually figured out where I needed to go beforehand, they compared me to a scared mouse loose in someone's home. From the outside it must have been very funny. On the inside, I started to feel like Jerry might have been more stressed than I realised when he was running away from Tom the cat.

smh why cant the hearthian bring a glass of water.. are they stupid?
EOTE spoilers >!Smh. why cant the hearthian just bring a glass of water to the simulation corpse rooms and just sploosh each of their fires, brutally murdering each one by one as they panic, wondering what must be going on on the outside. The heartian is then free to explore the simulation tormet free! forget reduced frights mode, how about "cold blooded murder" mode! are they stupid for not remembering to bring a big glass of water????"!<

Just finished the game… damn
No spoilers but this was a solid 9/10 game. It’s rare a game is exactly what people call it. I only withheld one point because the last few puzzles were too obtuse imo. But in my 14 hours only having to google in the last hour is nota deal breaker. Thanks to yall for being so tight lipped and promoting this game.

The Sunless City (contains spoilers!!)
Ive been playing this game for a while now, and I thought I’d explored most of The Sunless City, however I still have the ‘There’s more to explore here’ hint in the ship log- But I can’t seem to find anything else that I haven’t already discovered!
I also really feel like there’s some important information there that I need (especially about the sun satellite- how to ‘safely’ get there on ash twin etc which i still haven’t found out).
Any hints regarding this to push me in the right direction would be amazing (no spoilers tho)! I keep finding dead ends and it’s making me lose motivation a bit.. Thanks!

The universe dodged a MASSIVE bullet
We know that Annona designed the Warp Core (or at least some version of it), and we know that the disappearance of Escall's vessel was considered by some to be an urban legend. Additionally, in the recent broadcast received by the Vessel, the author sends advice on which galaxy is safe "for the clans who can reach it".
Does that mean the Vessel's crew invented and installed their Warp Core, and then left for the Eye before the next Festival took place... and the knowledge was lost with them, with no one else having managed to invent it on their own for hundreds of thousands of years?
That feels incredibly tragic and depressing... until you realize that the alternative would be way worse.
If they hadn't warped for the Eye and instead managed to share the design at a Festival, EVERY SINGLE NOMAI CLAN would have the ability to destroy the fabric of spacetime.
Sooner or later there would be a Mallow the Second or Avens Junior who, in true Nomai fashion, would think "it's theoretically unadvised but m not a scientist if I don't at least try it!"
And bye bye to reality, boom, there goes gravity...
