Scp-962 is genuine disturbing to me and its a shame noone talks about it
Scp-962 is basically a giant tower built in the shape of a corkscrew coming up from the earth sitting in the middle of the woods.
The disturbing part is how it idolizes humans, it doesn't just see us humans as a superior being, it sees us as gods, as being so far above normal animals that the mutilation, reconstruction and murder of any wildlife into a human form is worth the sacrifice to become one.
The tower has transformed thousands or possibly millions of animals into humanoid servitors before being contained, in fact the towers has probably already expanded itself tons of miles further than its containment zone would lead us to believe.
What terrifies me is the question of just how long has it been running? the tower and its minions are clearly very advanced especially considering how many of the servitors there are, so has it been around only a couple years? Or has it been here with us since we first learned how to throw rocks with sufficient accuracy?
Why does it view us as gods when we've destroyed environments? Hunted animals to extinction and threaten eachother with warheads the second we have a difference in opinion? Does it love us even after all our flaws?
This small story has been driving me mad with its possibilities, there us so many potential stories or SCP's that could be based off SCP-962 and yet noone seems to talk about it, not to mention all the interpretations it has.
My interpretation is that its Mother Nature/ Earth itself, we have been here on this planet for an absurd amount of time, we have transformed and have had an impact on our home planet for good and bad reasons, and the reason we can is because Mother Nature LET'S us do it.
Earth has become obsessed with us, wants to be like us and in its twisted mind, sees everything else it has created as a failure on its part, a failure that needs to be rectified.
Anyways yeah this is just a little rant/discussion on what I consider to be one if the best and most underrated SCPs out there :3

It's a bit random, but I'm a big fan of when articles visually portray other SCPs that don't have images in their own files.

Headcanon: SCP 682 finds his acid bath relaxing...
He has never adpated to the acid is because it feels like a relaxing day at the spa.
He acts like he is pain because he doesn't want the foundation to catch on.
But that's just my thoughts. After watching one too many youtube videos.
What are your opinions?
