The Defense Ministry has decided to re-equip all Russian peacekeeping forces with new AK-12 assault rifles, Izvestia sources in the military department said.

Rearmament began with the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade, located in the Samara region. The compound has already received more than 1,500 samples of new small arms.
