After many versions of Android, why is automatically deleting records (sms, calls) of user blocked numbers still not a thing? One would think that most people who block a number willfully do so to not get to read or be aware of the blocked numbers attempt to contact them. Instead we have android save it in a convenient place for one to read them later - probably not the intent of most users.
It's not because of technical limitations for sure. So what is the design reasoning for such a lack of f...

I'm a high schooler who got pissed off at Quizlet for locking night mode under a pay-wall. So I made my own Android app without the BS.
Like most students, flashcards are often my saving grace when its 2 AM and I have an exam the next day. And now that we are past the Mesozoic era, what better way to channel the power of flashcards than using technology? For years, using Quizlet was a no-brainer. Best UI, best study modes, most sets, right? Absolutely no use in switching over to another platform.
That is until those assholes decided to put Night Mode under a paywall. I'm someone who loves dark UIs, and have been using night mod...

Night mode: Google Cam vs Default Camera
I've recently installed the Google cam apk on my redmi k20 / mi9t
There is a night and day difference in portrait mode, not only can the Gcam take portraits shots without having to rely on the telephoto lens, but it also manages to detect and cut out foreground edges in a much cleaner way.
But what's even more impressive is the difference in **night mode** shots. I was blown away by how much true to life the details, color rendering and overall lighting turned out on the gcam shots. Take a loo...
