Windows 10 My Phone app now supports notification replies

I am unsure when this change happened, but I am now able to reply to Whatsapp notifications directly from the Windows Action Center. The phone and PC are on the same local network, and replies are sent almost instantly. I have not tested it with any other type of notifications, so others might be actionable as well.

What OEM deserve to release a brand-driven device?

Nowadays value-driven Android devices can pretty much only be had by OEMs that was founded in China due to their access of raw material, manufacturing facility, subsidy etc. But what company in your opinion deserve to charge hardware profit for their brand name or overall contribution/history in the arena? To me it's Sony like with their Xperia 1 since they literally can no longer compete with Samsung, Xiaomi but has strong contribution in display, camera, audio, PlayStation...

What does everyone think of the dark theme for Android's 'Messages' app? (Black vs Grey)

* This is specifically for the Messages app, nothing else.

* Common trend for messaging apps to offer a dark mode or dark theme. But the difference for messaging apps is that when you enable a dark theme, it's typically black. But Android's own default messages app utilizes a dark grey theme.

* What does everything think about this? Do you want you messaging app to be black? Or do you like the grey they've chosen? Does a black theme make the chat bubbles pop more? Does grey bother you or not...

Is LG worth giving another chance?

I had sworn off LG phones after bad experiences with the Nexus 4, Nexus 5X and a few lower end phones.

With Samsung's new direction I was looking at alternatives on GSMArena (rootable, fingerprint, 3.5 mm, SD card, USB C and pocketable)

The Sony Xperia 10 and LG G8 stood out.

I have never used Sony phones and no recent experiences with LG.

Do LG phones still suffer from bad hardware, quality control and bootloops?
Do the newer phones have an unlockable bootloader?

I know LG software isn't ...

Removable batteries need to come back. CMV.

Most smartphone manufacturers axed removable batteries today for mostly dumb reasons in my opinion. This is stupid and needs to end.

**Reasons why removable batteries are imperative for a good user experience:**

1. **It prolongs your smartphone's life.** When your battery dies, you can easily get a new one for a few bucks or so, slide it in, and boom your smartphone is back and kicking, without dying at 12 PM. This way you won't need to change your smartphone every two years or so.
2. **It's t...

If a phone requires a case, it's a design failure

Manufacturers have become pretty lazy with people forgiving them for this and that. Nowadays most phones are designed in a way that makes using a case mandatory.

If a phone is slippery, if its back is fragile, if it has a camera bump, it is a major design flaw.

Plastic, metal, rubberized plastic, leather are better than glass. A textured or matte body is better than a smooth and glossy one. A thicker phone with flush cameras is better than a thin one with a camera bump.

Of course it is too la...
